Description
Maltese Cross I believe pre – WW1 US Medical Corps 1896-1902 Screwback Insignia. Well over 100 years old…… For the collar, but looks good on a hat. And could also easily pass for a maltese cross German WW-1 insignia. Predates the coiled snake motif. German Silver? Which is really an alloy of copper, nickel + zinc. These are coated with silver with the other alloy underneath. Very nice condition, with understandable very light storage scratches which should about disappear when silver-polished….. Had them for a good 45+ years, originally from old W. Stokes Kirk of Philadelphia,1876-1974, who got them from the famous Philadelphia Frankford Arsenal….. now time to bring them out….. Try one on your baseball hat, + get attention…..Great conversation starter…..Has a nice non-offensive German-like look…..Very low price….. Should really sell for 15.00 – 20.00 today………… Re-Sell locally for MORE………..To USA lower 48 states ONLY. NO FOREIGN, APO, FPO, ISLANDS. None needing a Customs form. You get ONE…… And FREE – One US WW-2 cent clearly dated 1939-1944 included this month, if mentioned with Paypal payment, proving you read the Description.
